Rotten Tomatoes for Sale at MBG Fruit Stall

See this brand? Good.

Memorize it!

Carve an image of it in your head and make sure you be careful when buying fruits from this stall because you have been warned here at K.Thanks.Bai that something terribly wrong went on here that leads to this post!!

On an ill-fated 1st of June 2010, Ryan bought me a packet of cherry tomatoes from this branch in Jaya 33 and we were up for some sort of sick prank because in it, we found rotten cherry tomatoes..

Rotten how?

Rotten like this!

It's like a mixture of mayo + seaweed + bird shit -like fungus that has grown on the tomatoes making it look like some alien form has taken life onto these poor little vegetable fruits and it took a terribly wrong turn.

When I told Ryan about it, he went back down with the packet of alien eggs and took it back to the stall.

The staff hushed him up with 2 packs of pear and he came back up to show me that he has successfully pacified the situation.

Lucky, I took a picture of it because I didn't want anyone else falling into the same trap!!

Earlier today, I went to their website in attempt to complaint about the situation and found a suggestion form. It's NOT a complaint form, it's a suggestion form but it was all cool. So as I was happily suggesting what I thought about them, I realised two things.

First, was their tagline.

Everyday Fresh @ MBG!

Fresh? FRESH!?!

FRESH MY ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Second, was the first line in the suggestion form stating, 'Your satisfaction is our No. 1 priority.'

Because their suggestion form does not allow me to attach the picture that I have taken, I'm unable to express how satisfied I am. But I have a scale to show how satisfied I am.. I've even taken liberty in drawing it out for you..

You have been warned.

Ming Tien

Ming Tien... food court in Taman Megah.

Amazing food, and rather affordable. It's the type of food court that accomodates for everyone. Whether your a lagger drinking Brute or a student that just wants to kick back and read/surf or even just hang out, Ming Tien offers a variety of choices when it comes to food. from the usual Street food, to Savoury Chinese style soupy dishes to that Fried egg and oyster, with abit of western and Italian, local favorites are also present with Satay and Char kuey Teow.

Ming Tien , because of its diversity and quality is always packed! rain or shine there will be people. on Normal days you can get a table. but when football is on damn that son of a bitch is packed.the most frustrating thing about Ming Tien however is their waiters! i mean seriously... just trying to get their attention!!! alot of times when i've gone there, most of us would have been done with our meals before we can flag down one of these immigrants to order our drink. i reckon the management tried to solve this issue. they came up with beepers for these waiters. at each table there would be a little button which customers could use to signal a waiter. Problem with us being Malaysian, well go figure. everyone was freaking spamming that button. so the management removed it. and till Today. nothing has improved. it still takes forever to get our drinks.

Finding Parking in the Curve on a Public Holiday is easier then getting a nice cold LARGE Orange Juice.

PKNS Immigration Officers

So yesterday after work, on the dot 4pm I zoomed off to shah alam.. doesn't help that its raining.
Reached PKNS and by the time got parking was bout 4.35pm. Got lost abit finding the darn office... Okie than finally got there.. checked out the kiosk, saw a notice that says passport will be available for collect the next day for payments made after 3pm. So I tot oh than means still can drop in the passport?? Than was pressing all the buttons on the machine but not working. An officer actually walked in the kiosk to the office and totally ignored us. Bronx said the machine is off, so i din wanna waste anymore time and went to the office counters. Bronx stayed back and knocked on the glass door of the office in the kiosk area there and asked bout the machine and was told it closes at 4.30pm and to go to the counter which closes at 5pm. Hmm didn't see anywhere the opening hrs for the kiosk but maybe did not have time to read all the fine prints.

Anyway went to the office counter.. the officer that mans the reception desk is no where to be seen. So went straight to the counter, a dulan lady officer was sitting there... i told her i wan to renew passport.. she look at me very sien and say closed liow. I glanced at the clock right behind her and asked her don't u guys close at 5pm? The clock was showing 4.50pm at that moment. She looked at the clock and than shouted to her colleague... kak ada orang nak bout passport ni...
Than I dunno i think the kak yelled back dah tutup... or something. Anyway a male officer came over, guess he is a senior staff or supervisor? Told me same thing, they have closed now (hmm wonder if thats the case why are they hanging around at the counter for, wow didn't know gov staff so hardworking... counter close but still staying back and hanging around the counter to advise customers they have closed) Zzz anyway I lazy want to argue, never resorted to being a drama queen to get things done. Already expected to get crappy service from our beloved gov servants. You know all the crappy tagline something like utamakan warganegara.. is just plain nonsense... just like the whole 1 malaysia shit! If ever there is a day that I actually get excellent service from a chirpy and helpful gov staff... i will get a heart attack, get a stroke, foam in my mouth, wither up and die right there on the spot!
